Johannes Gensfleisch, called Gutenberg, (* around 1400 in Mainz; † 3rd of February 1468) was one of the most defining people in developing todays printing processes. Gutenberg is creditet to be the inventor of letterpress using movable type printing in Europe. He also invented the mechanical printing process. Now, nearly 600 years later we can't imagine our daily lives without printers. Every one of us is using a printer, whether at home or in the supermarket, at least once a day. This Fact alone, allows an impression about how much ink and toner is being used daily.
There are estimations of about 400 million used ink- and toner cardridges per year. Most of them are expensive an not fully recyclable. This is why we offer the cost saving and environmentaly friendly refilling of ink and toner cardridges in our TTT-shops. That we started in Dresden in 2003.
